Job Summary
Engineer and design modifications to improve production and reduce maintenance costs while directing major overhauls, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance activities. Coordinate equipment maintenance requirements, new equipment implementation with contractors, and ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and insurance regulations. Direct bargaining unit employees and promote a safe workplace by adhering to labor contracts and company policies. Participate in continuous improvement of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, 9001, and IATF 16949 programs through the near miss program and handle universal waste containerizing and labeling. Requires BS in Mechanical Engineering and five years of experience. Schedule includes 4/10 work week with Fridays off.
