Mechanical Engineer, Junior

Mechanical Engineer, Junior role developing, designing, and testing mechanical devices and systems. Responsible for reading blueprints and technical drawings, researching and designing mechanical products and processes, diagnosing malfunctions, and using CAD/CAM (including AutoCAD) and MBSE/3D modeling to model and turn designs into products. Collaboration with engineers to implement procedures, analyze failures, and perform computations and simulations using tools like MATLAB. Strong communication and documentation skills required; candidates should be capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an Active Secret security clearance. Onsite in Newport, Rhode Island.
