Job Summary
Lead the mechanical design of multidisciplinary electronic products from concept to mass production; collaborate with electrical engineering and PCB layout teams to integrate PCB/PCBA design constraints and optimize heat dissipation; design parts and assemblies for manufacturability across injection molding, die casting, CNC machining, and sheet metal fabrication; build, test, and troubleshoot physical prototypes with hands-on approach.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Designer in an R&D environment
- Strong background in designing complex, multidisciplinary electronic products
- Deep knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Comprehensive understanding of production techniques: plastic injection molding, die casting, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication
- Direct experience working with PCB and PCBA design constraints and heat dissipation techniques
- Hands-on experience with prototype build, test, and troubleshooting
- Preferred: simulation tools for thermal and structural analysis
