Job Summary
Plan and coordinate mechanical systems including HVAC, process piping, plumbing, and fire protection. Review drawings and specifications for constructability, develop engineering documents, and assist with scope development and sequencing strategies. Collaborate with project teams to resolve design issues, manage submittals and RFIs, and verify field installations. Support system start-up, testing, commissioning, and closeout documentation while contributing to lessons learned and best practices. Uphold safety, quality, and teamwork standards across complex construction projects.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineering license
- At least five years of Design experience
- Advanced expertise and experience in the current release of AutoCAD
- Advanced expertise and experience in the current release of Revit
- Understanding of HVAC systems
- Understanding of mechanical equipment
- Understanding of building systems coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Ability to read and interpret specifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Organized
- Detail-oriented
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Willingness to engage in office environments
- Willingness to engage in active jobsite environments
- Willingness to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
- Willingness to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
