Job Summary
Design, fabricate, and test mechanical components for BeeX's Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, including CAD modeling, FEA simulations, and 2D drafting. Assist the Mechanical Lead with assembly, sea trials, and real-world evaluation while gathering user requirements. Establish documentation and test procedures for quality control and regulatory compliance. Work directly with a multi-disciplinary team in both office and sea trial environments. This internship offers exposure to deep-tech development from design to commercialization, with potential conversion to a full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in SolidWorks and Autodesk or equivalent engineering CAD design software.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members in other sub-teams

- Experience with various manufacturing methods ranging from CNC, welding, to sheet metal fabrication to injection moulding to composite
