Job Summary
Support design, analysis, and coordination for facility and infrastructure projects while keeping deliverables on schedule and aligned with client and code requirements. Mentor EIT I peers, execute computer-based engineering calculations, and produce designs in Revit and CADD. Coordinate with other disciplines to determine equipment needs, attend meetings with owners and architects, and communicate design requirements to contractors. Accompany senior staff on job-site visits to investigate field conditions and monitor progress against design specs. Read blueprints and specifications, maintain accurate files, and assist with technical documentation, proposals, and presentations. Participate in internal training and may assist project managers with facilitation duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college
- Two years' applicable experience
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Certified EIT with a state licensure board
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of discipline‐specific software (e.g., Trace700, SKM)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies
- Knowledge of drafting/design procedures and standards
- Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations
- Ability to read drawings and coordinate multi‐discipline inputs
- Strong written communication and technical writing
- Clear speech clarity and interpersonal collaboration
- Detail‐oriented with sound judgment and decision‐making
- Strong comprehension and follow‐through on direction and feedback
