Job Summary
Lead design concepts and analyses as a discipline expert for mechanical engineering projects, coordinating across MEP and architectural teams, mentoring colleagues, and delivering clear, code-aligned documentation from concept through construction. Assume responsible charge for projects within your experience; lead design delivery on moderate to large projects; perform engineering studies using industry software; coordinate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and authorities; review shop drawings and submittals; conduct site visits; provide mentoring and internal trainings; contribute to proposals and client presentations. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; strong knowledge of codes, regulations, and construction costs; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multi-discipline coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college with 12 years applicable experience in discipline design and analysis
- Registered Professional Engineer
- An expert in the discipline of his/her expertise
