Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer III (Senior-Level) for mission-critical and data-center focused HVAC/mechanical system design. Lead with technical direction, architect high-reliability cooling and power-dense systems, perform advanced load calculations and energy assessments, oversee BIM production in Revit/AutoCAD, ensure QA/QC across drawings, mentor junior engineers, conduct field observations, and contribute to client proposals and cost estimates. Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years in an MEP consulting environment, expert Revit/AutoCAD/Bluebeam/MS Office, proficiency with HAP/TRACE 700 load/energy analysis, and RSMeans-based cost estimation. Preferred: PE license, Engineer of Record experience, LEED/WELL and energy modeling experience.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 7+ years of dedicated experience within an MEP consulting engineering environment.
- Expert-level command of Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Mastery of load and energy analysis software (HAP, TRACE 700, or equivalent) and a deep understanding of mechanical and energy codes.
- Practical experience with construction cost estimating using RSMeans or similar tools.
