Job Summary
Support production line installation activities by procuring services, equipment, and parts, designing simple fixtures, assemblies, and stands, and interfacing with third-party contractors. Apply principles of mechanics, hydraulics, and machine design to support the design, production, operation, and use of machinery. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of installation problems while working under minimal direction to independently determine and develop approaches. Read blueprints, part drawings, and utilize CAD. Requires a high school diploma plus seven years of manufacturing experience or a bachelor's degree in a technical field plus three years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- understanding and application of standard mechanical engineering methodologies
- general knowledge of other related disciplines
- ability to read blue prints and part drawings
- familiarity with CAD
- ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of installation problems
- ability to work under minimal direction
- ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions
- ability to make frequent inter organizational and/or external contacts
- ability to represent the organization
- ability to maintain strong working relationships outside of immediate work group
- HS Diploma + 7 years' experience in Manufacturing
- BS in a technical field + 3 years' experience
