Job Summary
Provide guidance to Level 1 and 2 Engineers on mechanical design for power system products and convert prototype designs into commercially viable systems. Perform detailed calculations for system cooling requirements, conduct field surveys to identify mechanical problems, and inspect installations for conformance to specifications. Confers with internal and external customers on product designs, compiles data for engineering reports, and contributes to technical manuals. Operates computer-assisted engineering software to guide layout for mechanical construction projects and provides training to other technical personnel. Works between 7 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday, with potential on-call availability to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of progressive engineering related experience
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology
- 9 years of progressive engineering related experience
- 5-10% Travel
- Work between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
- Work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
- Passing a background and drug test
- E-Verify participation
