Job Summary
Provide guidance to Level 1 and 2 Engineers and Designers while converting prototype designs into commercially viable mechanical systems. Perform detailed calculations for system cooling requirements and inspect completed installations to ensure conformance with design specifications. Confers with internal and external customers on product designs, compiles data for engineering reports, and contributes to technical manuals. Operates computer-assisted engineering software to guide mechanical construction layouts and conduct field surveys to identify system problems. Offers training to technical personnel and leads complex projects with minimal oversight. Works Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of progressive engineering related experience
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology
- 9 years of progressive engineering related experience
- Travel: 5-10%
- Must be able to work between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
- Must be able to work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
- Must pass a background and drug test
- Must be eligible for E-Verify
