Job Summary

R&D Engineer II - Mechanical to design, develop, and test mechanical components and subsystems for automotive service equipment. Responsibilities include selecting parts and manufacturing processes to meet project scope, validating concepts through analysis and testing, designing parts and assemblies (sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, castings, plastics, sensors, electronics), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading smaller projects. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar and 5+ years of machine design experience; proficiency with CAD (Creo preferred) and knowledge of sheet metal, weldments, mechanisms, hydraulics, system integration, GD&T, and materials selection. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • 5+ years machine design experience

  • Ability to lead smaller projects
  • Occasional travel (<10%)
