Job Summary
Design and develop standard and custom gas delivery systems, producing Inventor models and detailed drawings, and validating dimensional tolerances. Collaborate with management, manufacturing, and customer service to assess feasibility, cost effectiveness, and project scheduling. Lead or assist in BOM entry, P&ID creation under supervision, and engineering calculations for pressure, heat, and exhaust requirements. Interface with production, QA, and outside vendors to resolve issues; provide feedback to sales for quotes; schedule and track projects; and recommend component substitutions to meet schedules. Requires a 4-year mechanical engineering degree and 2-10 years of experience; proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor; familiarity with MRP/ERP and Microsoft Office; strong written and oral communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering required
- 2-10 years' experience in mechanical engineering field or related area
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP software preferred
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Expert knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD® and Inventor
