Job Summary
Design products, machines, and systems such as robots and controls while researching feasibility, analyzing customer specifications, and performing design calculations. Develop quick-turn prototypes, coordinate procurement and fabrication, and assist in developing test methods and gauges. Evaluate field installations and manufacturing floor machines to recommend corrective actions, and support technical publications and customer process development. Apply engineering principles to meet cost targets and monitor development schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 0-2 years of experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
Desired Qualifications
- 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks and PTC Creo
- Understanding of PLM Systems such as Windchill
- Large ERP Systems such as SAP
