Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer I will perform technical engineering tasks, including engineering studies and designs of moderate complexity, and will collaborate with senior staff. Key responsibilities include assisting in developing design approaches, proposals, and cost estimates, reviewing project drawings, performing on-site surveys, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, be a Licensed Engineer, and have at least 4 years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Professionally Licensed Engineer
- Bachelor's (B.S.) Mechanical Engineering degree
- At least 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional Engineering License is required
Desired Qualifications
- Progressive engineering experience working on tasks of moderate complexity
- Strong knowledge in the use of engineering design software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to research and interpret engineering discipline codes and standards
- Ability to collaborate, build relationships and work effectively with a team
- Previous experience in consulting is highly preferred
