Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical components for electro-mechanical relays, generate detailed drawings and BOMs, perform DFx analyses (DFM/DFA/DFMEA), validate components, collaborate with vendors and Quality teams, and contribute to continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. Requires 3D modelling proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), knowledge of sheet metals and plastics, fabrication/machining/assembly experience, prototyping and mechanical testing, and strong technical documentation skills. Located in Bangalore, India with full-time, on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 4-8 years of experience in manufacturing-focused R&D
- Strong expertise in 3D modelling and drafting using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with sheet metals and plastics, material selection
- Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly processes
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and mechanical testing (e.g., Vibration and Thermal cycling)
- Proficiency in English (spoken & written)
