Job Summary
Lead design and development of complex transformer engineering projects, translating customer requirements into innovative, practical design solutions. Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure feasibility while managing multiple projects against timelines, budgets, and goals. Drive risk identification, implement mitigation strategies, and incorporate feedback to build strong customer relationships. Promote standardization, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring emerging talent. Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in power transformer design engineering
- Proven ability to lead complex engineering design projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally in collaborative environments
- Commitment to continuous learning and applying innovative engineering approaches
