Job Summary
Provide high-level project design reviews and ensure design quality for complex projects across various sectors. Lead QA/QC initiatives, develop standards and guidelines, and serve as an advisor on project design work to make recommendations and decisions. Promote efficiencies and high-quality output within the team while mentoring and training junior staff. Deliver high quality engineering designs with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, supported by a comprehensive understanding of International Building Codes. This Senior Mechanical Engineer role is based in the Des Moines team at a reputable multidisciplinary design firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 6+ years of progressive engineering experience
- PE License
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Comprehensive understanding of International Building Codes
