Job Summary
Calculate heating/cooling loads, select equipment, and layout duct/piping for HVAC and plumbing systems design. Create/edit project details and specifications while participating in design review meetings. Resolve design issues using technical expertise and coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines. Prioritize experience on healthcare facilities projects and utilize Revit, BIM, and Trane/Trace software. Requires a PE license, 8+ years of consulting engineering experience, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering. Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer or Architectural Engineering
- 8+ years of consulting engineering experience with an emphasis on HVAC/plumbing design
- Experience working on healthcare facilities projects
- PE License
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of building controls preferred
- Experience with Revit, BIM, Trane/Trace, IES and Microsoft Office
