Job Summary
Translate product drawings and specifications from English to Chinese, establish MPP routing, and create detail working instruction sheets. Perform 3D modeling using UG, select cutting tools, and design fixtures to drive cost reduction in tooling. Coach operators on machining methods and resolve shop manufacturing problems by disposing of NCRs and implementing quality improvements. Participate in LEAN and EHS actions while complying with company policies. Requires a BS in mechanical or electrical engineering with over five years of experience in large assembly projects, specifically power generation equipment like steam turbines. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for communicating with foreign experts.
Required Qualifications
- BS of mechanical or electrical
- working experience for the large assembly projects as engineers more than 5 years
- working in power generation equipment business
- In depth knowledge of complicated system(, Steam turbine /generator...)
- assembly & machining technology
- Familiar with large vertical lathe and boring machine
- Familiar with quality tools FMEA, seven-way etc.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skill
