Job Summary
Design pump packages, components, and layouts while preparing project technical documentation and bills of materials. Ensure product safety through rigorous design reviews and champion FLS policies for worksite safety. Generate detailed 2D drawings and complex 3D hydraulic models using SolidWorks, performing peer checks against GD&T and drafting standards. Provide end-to-end engineering support for operational initiatives, sustain key indicators like OTD and KQI using CIP techniques, and prepare engineering standards to minimize errors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supervisors to enhance customer satisfaction, lead standardization projects, and train associates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years with relevant experience in pumps or rotating equipment industry
- Knowledge of ASME / API/ DIN design standards and material specifications
- Excellent ability to read and understand engineering drawings/documents/reports
- Proficient on 2D and 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar CAD tools)
- Must be conversant with GD&T (Basics & Advanced) and drafting standard ANSI Y 14.5 and ISO 8015
- Good understanding of Foundry practice and methodology with ISO 8062
