Job Summary
Design Engineer to prepare complex 3D CAD drawings and BOMs for skid-packaged compressor and vacuum systems, including 3D CAD drawings (SolidWorks), P&ID layouts, material selection, and manufacturing documents. Responsibilities include creating BOMs and SAP master data, reviewing design specifications, ensuring compliance with national/international directives (Machinery Directive, PED, EN13480/EN13445), performing peer reviews, applying GD&T, and collaborating with global teams using Windchill and SAP. Experience with piping design, pressure vessels, and instrument integration, plus knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3 and EN13480 piping codes, is required. Languages: English essential; German preferred. Preferences include DS SolidWorks with pipe routing and Windchill PLM, rotating equipment experience, and gas-handling knowledge.
