Job Summary
Develop and review mechanical designs, planning documents, and technical reports for federal facilities projects. Design mechanical building systems, coordinate with architectural, structural, civil, and electrical disciplines, and conduct code compliance reviews, technical evaluations, and peer reviews of engineering deliverables. Support projects through design, bidding, and construction while ensuring compliance with technical standards. Develop project schedules, lifecycle cost estimates, and feasibility studies. Lead engineering tasks, prepare scopes of work, and provide technical and contract administration support. Requires active TS/SCI clearance, 7+ years of experience, and proficiency with Revit. Includes 10–20% travel, including occasional OCONUS travel.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Willingness to travel 10–20%, including occasional OCONUS travel
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP)
- Autodesk Certified Professional
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
