Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer, Facilities at SpaceX Starlink Production facility to troubleshoot, evaluate, and improve mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, cryogenics, and related infrastructure); coordinate downtime across maintenance, construction, and production; drive system improvements and design upgrades; oversee installation and maintenance of equipment; write and manage construction contracts; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; support facility technicians on electrical equipment and controllers; be able to work extended hours and travel occasionally; based in Redmond, WA; qualifications include a B.S. in mechanical engineering and 3+ years of experience with HVAC/plumbing systems; preferred experience in clean-room design and familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit; ITAR considerations apply.
