Job Summary
Interpret industry standards governing product design and develop accurate prints and mechanical documentation for manufacturing and assembly of customized products. Generate bills of material, coordinate material purchase requests, and produce detailed design drawings using CAD systems for new products or improvements. Review designs produced by other engineers for conformance to specifications, investigate shop and electrical problems, and recommend corrective design measures. Execute mechanical component and steel frame structure design, perform linear structural stress analysis, and specify materials for Oil & Gas applications. Lead internal design reviews, support continuous improvement initiatives, and address field quality issues through engineering change notices. Entry-level position open to recent graduates with one year of experience; local or regional candidates preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
- Position open to new college graduates, and those with 1-year of experience
- Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and 3-D modeling software
- Experience in use of AutoCAD, Inventor, MRP tools
- working knowledge and skill with Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications
