Job Summary
Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to assist in designing mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on injection molded plastics, die castings, labels, and sheet metal parts. Create and revise 3D CAD models and engineering drawings in SolidWorks; design and edit product labels in Adobe Illustrator; manage design information in Windchill PDM. Support prototype, testing, verification, and documentation of designs; collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure performance, cost, and manufacturability; participate in project management tasks such as scheduling and milestone tracking; assist with supplier communication and coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling and 2D drawings)
- Windchill
- Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with injection molding, die casting, and sheet metal fabrication
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and eager to learn in a hands-on engineering environment
