Job Summary
Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies for industrial machinery. Create and revise CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation under the direction of senior engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless product development and manufacturing. Participate in design reviews, prototype testing, and validation activities to ensure designs meet performance and safety requirements. Support troubleshooting of mechanical issues in production and the field, documenting findings and recommended solutions. Apply engineering principles and company standards to contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes. Maintain organized project files and assist with the preparation of bills of materials, specifications, and reports. Learn and apply industry best practices, safety standards, and relevant codes in daily engineering work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidEdge, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
- Strong foundation in mechanical design principles, statics, dynamics, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
