Job Summary

Join the Spark Ignited Gas Engine Performance team as a Mechanical Engineer, responsible for developing and calibrating engine systems across various applications. The role involves validating performance requirements, conducting combustion and system-level simulations, and collaborating with a diverse team of experts. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required, along with relevant experience in internal combustion engine performance development and simulation. Ideal candidates will be self-starters with strong communication skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
  • Experience in performance development of internal combustion engines
  • Experience in the simulation/modeling/analysis of internal combustion engines or sub-systems
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License

Desired Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Engine Development or Power Systems
  • Experience with GT Power Modeling or similar software
  • Experience with thermodynamic system simulation/modeling/analysis
  • Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude through work experience or hobbies
  • Hands on experience with internal combustion engines.
