Job Summary
Conduct mechanical HVAC engineering design utilizing Revit and AutoCAD, including load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment sizing. Manage drawing production, specification writing, and discipline coordination while reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and construction sites. Interface with code officials, contractors, architects, and clients to deliver innovative solutions for high-performance buildings, healthcare facilities, and water treatment systems. Assist with controls systems design and support other MEP disciplines to foster a well-rounded engineer. Participate in opportunities across Dewberry's national offices as project backlog grows.
Required Qualifications
- BSME or Arch Engineering degree with Mechanical focus
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical HVAC design
- Must have experience designing mechanical systems and producing design documents for listed project types in Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Must be a self-starter with initiative, drive and determination
- Must be available for opportunities in other Dewberry offices around the country
Desired Qualifications
- EIT preferred
- PE is a plus
