Mechanical Engineer Designer

Maintain current and develop new engine products, systems, components, and accessories to support business unit objectives. Analyze product specifications and performance requirements to determine designs feasible for existing manufacturing facilities. Determine feasibility of new plant equipment or facility modifications considering costs, space, time, and technical factors. Provide technical information on manufacturing techniques, materials, and process limitations affecting engineering planning. Confer with development personnel to resolve problems and prepare or direct preparation of product layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics. Direct and coordinate manufacturing or building of prototype products. Define testing protocols, analyze test data, and report results to verify designs meet functional and performance specifications. Requires a BSME degree, technical drawing experience (e.g., Autodesk), and diesel or automotive experience. Full benefits package including health insurance, 401K, and weekly pay.
