Job Summary
Plan, conceptualize, and create HVAC mechanical designs for new and retrofit data center projects in the mission critical environment; duct design/piping design experience; central plant cooling design; perform typical HVAC engineering calculations; create technical drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit for review by Sr. Engineer; collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors; ensure project timelines are met and project stays within budget; travel to project sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- EIT/PE a plus
- 5 years (min) of experience working for a design engineering firm
- Mission Critical design experience a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
- Must be self-motivated and know project design steps/requirements
