Job Summary
Planate Management Group seeks a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on chilled water HVAC systems to provide on-site mechanical engineering support for design and construction activities on Cyprus-based projects. Responsibilities include reviewing mechanical designs, specifications, and technical documentation; evaluating HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for performance and compliance with codes and standards; conducting inspections and technical assessments of installations; supporting system testing, commissioning, and operational readiness; and coordinating with the project team, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure proper mechanical system performance and successful project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering degree or valid mechanical design license or equivalent professional certification
- Certified and authorized tradesperson in government regulated trades for commercial heating and cooling systems, including chilled water HVAC systems
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction projects of similar scope
- Ability to work on site as project needs require
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC systems, codes, standards, and safety practice
- For Project Engineer, completed Part 1 of Standard Form 330 (SF 330) and detailed resume with general and project related qualifications and experience
- Proficient in written and verbal English
