Job Summary
Planate Management Group seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical system work on construction projects, with a focus on commercial heating and cooling systems and chilled water HVAC systems. You will review mechanical system designs, evaluate performance and compliance, conduct inspections and technical assessments of installations, ensure compliance with codes and safety rules, and coordinate with the project team, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure successful project completion. The role requires on-site work in Cyprus, at least 7 years of relevant experience, and a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent certification. Proficiency in English and familiarity with HVAC systems, codes, standards, and safety practices are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Certified and authorized tradesperson in government regulated trades for commercial heating and cooling systems, including chilled water HVAC systems.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction projects of similar scope, scale, and quality.
- Mechanical Engineering degree or valid mechanical design license or equivalent professional certification.
- Ability to work on site as project needs require.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC systems, codes, standards, and safety practice.
