Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer to manage projects and teams, provide mechanical/HVAC design for building projects, assist in producing construction documents for new buildings, renovations, and additions, develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate project designs with other disciplines, and build/maintain positive client relationships. Requires a degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering with professional registration and 5-10+ years of MEP project-management experience, strong knowledge of mechanical building codes and load calculations, HVAC design experience across retail, commercial, central plants, boilers, and cooling towers, knowledge of sustainable design practices, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering
- professional registration
- 5-10+ years of relevant MEP experience including project management
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building codes and ability to perform load calculations
- Mechanical/HVAC design experience (retail, commercial, central plants, boilers, cooling towers)
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP engineering modeling tools
