Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer role focusing on design of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for a Long Island-based engineering firm. Assist MEP team with development of building solutions, coordinate with in-house PE and other staff, mentor from department head, and review/site visits to measure and document existing conditions. Responsibilities include developing preliminary HVAC design and electrical power calculations, drafting demolition and new equipment plans in AutoCAD, coordinating with authorities and staff, and traveling across Long Island/NY Metro area. Must have BS in mechanical engineering, AutoCAD proficiency, and MS Office skills; Driver's License is required.
Required Qualifications

- AutoCAD skills
- MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Driver's License
- Competent in drafting/AutoCAD
- Long Island/NY Metro travel ability
