Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer in our Miami, FL office focused on multifamily residential, mixed-use high rise, hospitality and commercial projects. Responsible for inspections, testing, and producing plans, specifications and reports for clients; lead small-to-medium HVAC projects; manage projects from feasibility through construction administration and close-out; develop and implement mechanical HVAC design standards; coordinate with internal and external teams; travel to client sites as needed. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in MEP design/consulting, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. OSHA-10 preferred; US Driver’s License required. Proficient in design calculations, CAD/drafting, and knowledge of HVAC systems and codes (ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA); experience with field reports, specifications, and multidiscipline drawing coordination; strong communication and project management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering
- Five plus years of experience in MEP Consulting and design engineering services environment
- Professional Engineer license required
- Valid United States Driver’s License required, as this position requires travel to and from client sites
