Job Summary
Independent design tasks for mechanical projects; develop CAD knowledge and apply CAD tools; participate in schematic design to design development; lay out mechanical systems, perform HVAC and energy calculations, equipment sizing, and develop documentation and diagrams; coordinate with project team and other design professionals; requires Professional Engineer license and 7+ years of mechanical design experience; Proficiency with Revit and MS Office; benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), PTO, disability, life insurance, and flexible work options; onsite Minneapolis location with supportive work culture.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineering license is required
- Bachelor of Science from an accredited technical University in mechanical engineering or associate degree from an accredited technical institution or college in the engineering design areas of HVAC or plumbing
- Proficient in Revit
- General knowledge of mechanical systems
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Able to use MS Office suite
- Detail oriented
- Strong design and drafting capabilities
- Experience with coordinating with design teams and project managers
