Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for leading HVAC and plumbing building systems design using AutoCAD MEP and Revit. Responsibilities include creating drawing sheets from architectural base files, independently producing basic to advanced mechanical/HVAC designs, carrying design projects from narrative through permit drawings, preparing HVAC engineering calculations, applying international and local building codes to produce code-compliant design documents, QAQC reviews of design documents, leading and managing projects with client coordination, cross-functional coordination with other disciplines, attending project meetings, conducting site visits and authoring observation reports, handling construction administration duties including first-level RFI and submittal responses under supervision, and participating in ongoing engineering training and continuing education.
