Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer for Building Automation (BAS/MEP) responsible for hardware design of BAS systems, sequencing of operation, and documentation updates; coordinates with project teams, prepares RFIs, and ensures compliant yet optimized BAS designs using knowledge of HVAC/building automation, sensors, controllers, and network protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2). Applicants should be proficient with Windows/Microsoft Office, Visio, and related BAS tools (e.g., Eikon, Sitebuilder, Viewbuilder) and able to interpret architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and contract documents to deliver integrated BAS solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
