Job Summary
Provide mechanical engineering design and development of innovative products from concept through production, including designing, building, and testing proof-of-concept models, breadboards, prototypes, and production-ready designs. Apply expertise in motion systems, robotics, and precision electromechanical design while utilizing Creo and/or SolidWorks to develop detailed mechanical designs and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support proposal development, technical estimates, and customer engagements, ensuring compliance with the company's Quality Management System and engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience focused on new product development
- Demonstrated success bringing complex products from concept through manufacturing
- Experience designing high-precision electromechanical systems
- Experience with rapid prototyping and prototype development
- Experience designing products for underwater or marine environments
- Proficiency with Creo and/or SolidWorks
- Experience developing products that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software systems
- Strong understanding of DFM, DFA, design for cost, and reliability engineering
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience working within an engineering services or product development consulting environment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Desired Qualifications
