Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer needed to design and bring to life innovative HVAC and plumbing solutions for a multi-disciplinary architecture/engineering/construction firm in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include ensuring HVAC and plumbing meets code and budget, coordinating with construction administration to develop project work, managing equipment selection and contractor RFPs, representing the company in project meetings and building customer relationships, and assisting in negotiations and strategy meetings. Required: 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC/plumbing design, a 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent, and ability to travel 30%. PE license is highly desirable. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing design
- 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- PE license highly desirable
