Job Summary
Develop and review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements. Design and implement mechanical products using CAD and CAE tools, conduct product testing, and create models and prototypes. Evaluate design changes, specifications, and drawing releases while participating in product development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Support more experienced engineers and interact with sales personnel, requiring travel to customers and vendors as needed. Perform fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical products. Apply engineering principles to relevant industries including Automotive, Medical Device, and Power Distribution.
Required Qualifications
- BSME or BS Bio Mechanical engineering degree from a four year college or university
- 1 – 2+ years of related experience
- Self learning, task oriented, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge and proficiency with components in electrical transfer CAD or equivalent program knowledge
- 3D preferred
- Ability to travel
- Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
