Job Summary
EIT I will learn discipline standards and tools while supporting design and analysis on real projects. You’ll collaborate with designers and engineers, contribute to drawings and calculations, and develop the fundamentals needed to progress toward responsible charge. Responsibilities include learning industry standards, applying SSR procedures, assisting with design analyses in software, producing designs in Revit/CAD with redlines from senior staff, coordinating designs with other disciplines, documenting progress and field observations, assisting with proposals and technical documentation, communicating with contractors and sales representatives to understand scope and feasibility, and accompanying senior staff on project site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college
- Intent to study for and pass the FE exam within the first year
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of engineering theories/methodologies and industry software (Revit and AutoCAD)
- Clear written communication and speech clarity; strong comprehension and follow-through on direction and feedback
- Detail-oriented with sound judgment and decision-making; collaborative and eager to learn
