Job Summary
Build, service, and maintain surface and underground drilling equipment while troubleshooting faults and ensuring statutory servicing and testing are completed. Record service literature, manage daily and weekly payroll reporting, and coordinate parts ordering for workshops and on-site operations. Carry out repairs and overhauls across South Guildford and Perth locations, ensuring all paperwork is signed off and safety standards are upheld. Requires proven experience with drill rigs, hydraulic and electrical systems exposure, and a current C Class driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working on drill rigs or heavy machinery
- Relevant trade qualification and certifications
- Basic hydraulic & electrical systems exposure
- Effective in troubleshooting and quick problem resolution skills
- Current manual C Class Driver License
- Current Forklift ticket
- National Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety standards and hazard identification
- Attention to detail and time management
