Mechanical Draftsperson

Prepare mechanical design drawings, layouts, material lists, and project documentation from specifications, site surveys, and sketches. Develop detailed fabrication drawings for civil, mechanical, and structural systems while coordinating design activities for tenders and project delivery. Liaise with consulting engineers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to provide mechanical design support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and project execution phases. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design quality, standardisation, and efficiency. This role reports to the Principal Mechanical Engineer within the EPC business, supporting project execution and tendering activities for gas engine power stations and combined heat and power technology across mining, water, agriculture, and industrial sectors.
