Job Summary
Mechanical Drafter working on water treatment/industrial equipment projects in Minneapolis-area with a hybrid schedule. Create General Arrangement drawings, fabrication, installation, and assembly drawings for internal production teams and external fabricators, review proposals and plans to determine requirements, ensure designs meet project requirements, and support purchasing and development of standard product offerings. Requires 5+ years of SolidWorks experience, strong CAD and communication skills, and ability to collaborate across project teams. Contract role with benefits including health/dental insurance and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing in SolidWorks
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external teams
- Associate Degree in a technical field preferred
