Job Summary

Define mechanical scope and deliverables for project phases, including FEL-2 development and equipment specifications supporting cost estimates. Establish applicable codes, standards, and design requirements while ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and company mandates. Specify static and rotating equipment for required service, including selection of appropriate materials of construction. Review and approve specifications, datasheets, calculations, drawings, and models prepared by engineering partners and vendors. Provide technical leadership to mechanical teams of engineering and EPC partners. Coordinate with Company and EPC Project Managers to maintain alignment on scope, priorities, interfaces, quality, and schedule. Identify mechanical risks early, develop mitigation plans, and communicate recommendations to leadership. Develop and implement standards, procedures, and templates to improve quality and standardization. Make sound project-level mechanical decisions with limited supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7/10+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated experience leading the mechanical discipline within the chemical or petrochemical manufacturing industry
  • 5+ Years Project Engineering Experience projects
