Installations/upfitting of heavy equipment with a focus on welding/fabrication; install cranes and related components; integrate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; read hydraulic and electrical schematics; perform DOT, FRA, and crane inspections; uphold safety and quality standards; requires independent work with own tool set; equal opportunity employer in Omaha, NE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years proven welding and fabrication ability
- 2-3 years basic hydraulic and D/C electrical system understanding
- Ability to work independently on routine installs
- OTE forklift certification (on the job training)
- Be able to perform FMCSA and FRA required inspections
- Applicants are required to provide their own basic tool set. If an applicant does not have tools, Omaha Track will contribute up to $2,000 toward the purchase of tools to be repaid through payroll deductions
