Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team, developing mechanical assemblies with SolidWorks, supporting prototyping, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating across functions to achieve product realization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience designing mechanical assemblies
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, including FEA tools
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and mechanical tools
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-810, FMVSS, and vibration testing standards
- Experience with weld design, sheet metal, forming, and stamping processes
- Prior experience working within a PLM environment
- Ability to obtain controlled goods security clearance
