Job Summary
Mechanical Designer III will prepare detailed drawings and bills of material for equipment products, perform vessel and piping design functions, and prepare Submittal and O&M documents. Will also review project and specifications and check drawings. Use AutoCAD to design and produce detailed 3D drawings. Attend weekly staff meetings and project kick-off meetings; prepare transmittals, submittals and O&Ms; review project and vendor specifications; check drawings and documents; increase knowledge of products through peer interaction and manager guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required
- A Driver’s License is required
- 2-3 years of Auto CAD 3D experience is required
- 3-5 years of Mechanical drafting & design experience is required
- 3-5 years of Piping design experience is required
